Eric Kadenge
Eric is currently development project team leader at Trans World Radio in Nairobi, Kenya, a job which entails producing programmes in English, Swahili and other languages, as well as overseeing the running of the department. He has a degree in communication and community development and a post-graduate diploma in environmental journalism, and is currently studying for a masters in development communication.

Chris Kakunta
Chris is based in Zambia, and works for the National Agricultural Information Services (NAIS) where he has been a journalist reporting on Agriculture and Rural Development since 1993.
Chris holds a Certificate in General Agriculture, a Diploma in Journalism and is also a Trainer of Trainers in Rural Broadcasting.

Lazarus Laiser
Trained as a journalist in Kenya and Tanzania, Lazarus produces agricultural radio programme at Habari Maalum Media in Arusha. He has also undergone training in teaching skills in the UK, and acts as both teacher and training coordinator for students studying Media at Habari Maalum. Outside his work in journalism, Lazarus is a church pastor.

Busani Bafana
Busani cut his journalistic teeth working for some of Zimbabwe's leading independent newspapers such as the Financial Gazette and the Zimbabwe Independent. In 1998 he was joint winner of the inaugural IUCN/Reuters Environmental Reporting Award. He is currently Information and Public Relations Officer of Zimbabwe's National University of Science and Technology. Busani also pursues his passionate interest in radio and writing, through freelance reporting on agriculture, the environment, science, education and culture.

Kofi Adu Domfeh
Kofi Adu Domfeh is a Broadcast Journalist currently working in Ghana with Multimedia Broadcasting Company Limited, owners of one of the largest private media organizations in Ghana.
Domfeh specializes in Financial, Business and Economics reporting, and has a keen interest in agriculture and private sector development. In addition to contributing to AGFAX, Domfeh is in charge of the Business Desk at Luv 99.5 Fm in Kumasi, and reports for Joy 99.7 Fm in Accra.

Wambi Michael
Wambi is a senior journalist with the Voice of Teso radio station in Uganda, where he has been working for six years. He is also currently completing a 3 year degree in mass communication, and in recent years has received training from several international organisations, including the Danida Foundation, Voice of America and Reuters. In 2007 Wambi was awarded Uganda Investigative Journalist of the Year by Makerere University. He has also received several other awards for his work, including his reporting on HIV/AIDS and children.
Sylvia Khumalo
Sylvia is currently country director for the Adventist Development and Relief Association (ADRA) in Zimbabwe, where she has been since 2005. As such she has responsibility for coordinating all the work of the Association, and representing ADRA, for example with government agencies and donors. Before this she worked for eight years as a trainer in gender and agricultural development with Zimbabwe's agricultural extension department (AGRITEX), and was also a core trainer in communication skills and public speaking.

Excello Zidana
Excello is the senior programmes officer for Malawi's Agricultural Communications Branch. In this position, he is responsible for production of the weekly programme schedule, as well as being a regular presenter. His job also entails training for radio officers working at Agricultural Development Division offices throughout the country. Excello has worked in rural radio for over twelve years and undergone training in Malawi, South Africa and the UK.

Ismaila Senghore
Ismaila is the principal producer in the educational programmes section of the Gambia Radio and Television Services. This involves administration and supervision of the section team and production of programmes, as well as training of community radio station staff. Ismaila is heavily involved in work to link the media with development initiatives, and is a member of the National Climate Change Committee. He also writes on agriculture in The Gambia for African Farmer magazine.

Winnie Onyimbo
Winnie has spent the last five years as a radio producer for Trans World Radio in Kenya, where her responsibilities span the full range of programme making, from interviewing and editing to presenting and producing. Beyond this, she is currently studying for a BA in communication at Daystar University in Nairobi, and is involved with Media for Environment, Science, Health and Agriculture (MESHA), an association of specialist communicators.

Martha Chindong
Martha is widely known in Cameroon as ‘the farmer’s friend’ because of her fearless reporting on behalf of rural communities. Working in the communication unit of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, she produces a weekly radio programme, Our changing rural world, broadcast nationally. She also writes for Cameroon Agriculture magazine and is the secretary general of the National Association of Professional Media Women.

Pius Sawa
A Kenyan who has been living in Uganda since 1997, Pius is currently working at Radio Sapientia in Kampala as a reporter and producer. He is also a member of the monitoring team of the Pan African Mobile Network, a platform on ICT for social justice. With a diploma in journalism and media studies, and training in environmental, business and peace reporting, Pius has won several awards for his reporting on peace issues.
