Linking farmers to local restaurants

In Ghana, the EATBiz programme trains traditional caterers to improve and expand their restaurants and businesses. This includes ensuring the safety and quality of the food they serve and training their staff in good hygiene and cooking methods. But to get good quality fresh produce, such as leafy vegetables, caterers and farmers need to work together to create an efficient and speedy supply system. At an EATBiz training day in Kumasi, Kofi Adu Domfeh speaks to a caterer, a farmer, and the programme coordinator to find out more about linking farmers and caterers.
